Gorjuss - I Found My Family In A Book - Update  6 - Home ill  = Extra stitching

Managed to catch a flu bug over the weekend which meant I was housebound for 2 days. So, in between blowing my nose, sleeping, coughing and generally dying I got in some cross stitch. One more session on the floor, book and scissors and I’ll be ready to move into the back stitch!

Gorjuss - I Found My Family In A Book - Update 5 - Stage 1. Done.

This weekend I didn’t have a lot of time to stitch as I went up to the Cake and Bake show in London! But I did manage to finish the rest of my gorjuss girl! Just have to do the floor and the backstitch now!

Gorjuss - I Found My Family In A Book - Update 4 - On a roll!

I’ve had a very productive weekend! As well as getting the car MOT’d and buying a new baby bunny (super cute) I’ve also managed to finish her hair and now her face! Got a feeling it won’t be long before I’ve finished!

Gorjuss - I Found My Family In A Book - Update 3 - Full Head of Hair!

After a few headaches and a lot of double checking I’ve finally finished her hair! So glad to have finished it! Now, on to her face!

Gorjuss - I Found My Family In A Book - Update 2 - Not loving the hair at the moment

This weekend I started on the hair, bit of a nightmare working with three very similar dark blues but I’m getting there…….. Slowly….

Gorjuss - I Found My Family In A Book - Update 1

So between trips up to London and to the vets (we have a rather grumpy bunny on our hands at the moment) I managed to fit in a couple of hours this weekend to complete her dress. It’s so nice working with normal thread again after using the glittery thread on the paper chain section, makes everything it so much quicker!

Gorjuss - I Found My Family In A Book

I’ve recently discovered the Gorjuss range and more specifically the cross stitch designs! I found this one half price in town last week and had to get it! After doing battle with silver glitter thread I’ve managed to complete the paper chain portion of the picture and made a start on her dress
